David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25 1949) is an American journalist, anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for World News Tonight. Its dramatic video footage and its animated gestures has made it the top popular newscast in the United States. The anchor is also famous for his Emmy-nominated program Made In America. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, He was the main reporter for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. He's reported on a variety of evening specials on primetime ABC News some recent ones including Breaking Point: Heroin in America and Flashpoint The Refugee Crisis in America. He's traveled all over the world to cover the latest news coming from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. His accolades include several Edward R. Murrow Awards and awards from the Associated Press.
